Photo taken Nov 20th, 2002 As it is plainly visible to see, it did not take long for them to become best buddies. They are on my bed. They both had to use their claws to help them climb up on the comforter (bed) when they were small, so I had to replace the comforter. I got exactly the same one but kept the old one on until the day that the claws (front) were removed. They were also spayed and neutered at the same time. Better to get it over with together and let them recoup together.
Photo taken Nov 20th, 2002 It is very difficult some days to work at my desk. It is Grand Central Kitten Station with kittens arriving and leaving regularly. Sometimes they even park in the “station”. Bubble was captivated by the screen saver, which happed to be a photo of a rather formidable monitor lizard. When the slide changed, he left.
Photo taken Nov 20th, 2002 Bubble is standing on a chair on the dining room side of the counter, watching, closely I might add, me divide the can of cat food into separate bowls. God forbid that I don’t get the division equal or slip something into one and not the other.
Photo taken Aug 31, 2003 Almost the same photo? Yes, same event and same character, but 8 months later, and he is still making sure that supper is divided evenly, or better yet, in his favor. If I turn my back for just a second, out comes the fastest paw in the West, snagging the biggest dish. Dragging it into range of the fastest tongue in the West, he will start slurping it up as fast as he can, knowing that every bite he gets is a bonus, or so he thinks. Please do not think that he is not very well fed. He is quite plump and always has access to dry kibble, which he happily eats, unless the canned stuff is available! Squeak, on the other hand, is a dainty eater, and quite slender. One would think that she is watching her weight to keep her svelte figure. I may have to put Bubble on a diet, which he will definitely not like, but I have not figured out how to allow one (Squeak) to eat as much as she wants, and keep the other (Bubble) on a diet. Any suggestions? Copyright: |
